Getting Ready to Adopt/Law School

Based on the FUTURE travels of my sister and her husband!
Julie's husband, David, works very hard. He just got out of the army. He did sell Medicine for a while at "Pfizer" but that had to stop when he started Law School up here in North Texas at Texas Wesalyn Law School in Ft. Worth, Texas! He and Julie used to live in Houston, Texas. Julie gave up a GREAT Command job with the JAG Corp, the Lawyer part of the Army, so David and her could move to North Texas and David could find work full-time and go to school part-time, that was the plan!
Julie now has a job with an immigration attorney. She is making enough to cover bills and MAYBE a few hundred profit but that is the MOST! She is falling way behind! Julie does everything around the house too! David does almost nothing! She walks and feeds the dogs! They get walked twice a day! She runs the grocery errands! She fixes things in the house because, let's face it, David is NOT mechanically inclined! (Smile David!)
Oh, Yeah, she makes him his lunch AND dinner too! David works full time at the law school and then goes to classes at night. Go David!
Now, you know a little about David and Julie. Let me tell you about the Adoption process as I know it.
David and Julie have signed up for a "Home-Study". This is where a person comes in and interviews Julie and David together AND seperately. You should see Julie CLEAN right before a home study! My lord, there is not even a speck of DUST on the floor!
They then have to turn over legal documents. However, Julie and David keep on moving EACH TIME right after they have gotten situated for the home-study program. The last time they did this, They were all set to get a male child from the country in South America of "Columbia". This time, since Julie and David have moved up here as of july 2002, they have NOT gotten a home-study yet.
The reason behind for not getting a home study: Julie and David want to WAIT until David is out of Law School and by then Julie should be THRIVING (hopefully) in her practice, and then all good things will come!
