Costly mistakes
(lost paragrahs from True Defintion of Karma, (Urban S./Justice Pub.- fiction- 12/2009)
All I ever wanted to be was everything that Bea could ever want or need. I gave all my love, all my time. I would try to meet and exceed her every wish. I remember asking her to stay with me once when I needed her but she made up a reason to go. I promised her that I would never hurt or deceive her. Bea used to make me promise I would never leave her. I never would have. Ironically she left me for someone who didn't treat her half as good. He was supposed to be just a friend. I knew he was trouble when he mislead her into believing that I could or would do her wrong. She listened when he told her that I had a woman in my car; like he knows me or my car; like the tint ain't jet black or better yet like I don't have sisters and respect for her. He said I was in the bar drinking with a girl hanging all over me. I don't even drink and she knew that for a fact. I was just working hard to build a life for us. I was planning to ask her to marry me. I was away working for a while she said I took too long and she moved on. Maybe I didn't have enough finacially. Funny how I do now.Nothing like a high six digit income to clear up cloudy vision. Of course real love has nothing to do with money because it endures. Funnier, the house he bought for her is cold and lonely now. Who's running the street? He is. Now she's sorry and seems to remember everything that we shared. Now it's too late she's been gone to long. I got a woman that I love and she loves me back.
