Theresa knew that loneliness and curiosity was a deadly combination and that a person feeling true love would not try to take advantage of another. All the men she dated were not interested in her female companionship. They wanted her body and soul. Theresa’s problem was her curiosity; she hadn't ever seen an adult male without clothing. The fellows she dated would gladly take their clothes off. However, she only wanted to look, and she knew that they would want to do more. She stopped their advances coldly by saying, “All my children will have a father who loves their mother and also loves and wants them.”

She decided to join an art class with the hope of seeing a naked male in the safety and the company of others, but they used only females. The day eventually came when a male model posed but his maleness was covered.

Theresa refused to have an affair and so the years went by. A few men asked her to marry them, but she refused. She had to love them first, and they had to truly love her. When she turned twenty-eight, men stopped coming around.

She was desperate; she put on a short red skirt with a tank top to match and walked down town. Sure enough a man stopped and wanted to pick her up.

“Sorry, I won't get in a car with a man that I don't know,” she said. “But I'll meet you at a restaurant for a cup of coffee. We can talk and become acquainted. She suggested a restaurant on which to meet and he drove off.

She walked to the restaurant. Sure enough he waited there for her at a table. She sat down. He ordered coffee, and they talked. After a while, he asked, “May I take you out to dinner sometime?”

“Sure,”

“How about tonight?” he asked.

“Okay,” she said and she told him where she lived. That evening he came to pick her up. She made sure that she wore a modest dress. He took her out to a nice restaurant and asked her what she would like to order. She told him.

However, He only ordered her meal and did not order anything for himself. “Why didn’t you order something for yourself?”

“I'm not hungry.”

“But I will feel strange sitting here eating by myself.”

“Okay, I'll have a cup of coffee.” He smiled and added, “I'm dieting.”

Her meal arrived. She ate it but felt very weird. After dinner, he said, “Come up to my hotel room and we'll watch television together.

“I'll come with you, but only to watch television, nothing more.”

“I promise that's all we will do,” he said with a smirk.

She went, but with hesitation.

Once inside, they sat down, but he tried to undress her. “Stop, she shouted. What do you think I am? I can't be bought with a dinner or any amount of money. Take me home now.” He did, and that was the last time she saw him.

She figured he had not eaten because it would have shown up on his expense account. She felt ashamed. Had she not worn a short red skirt and walked down town with the hope a man would notice her?

The day soon came when a man did undress. He stated, “I do not love you, but I will pay you, take off your clothes and we‘ll go all the way.”

She stood up and said, “Thank you for you for your honesty. Now get dressed; she then pointed toward the door “and then leave.” All my children will have one father that loves their mother and them.”

“Hey, I have condoms.”

“I don’t care what you have. Go!”

He left. Again she was saved, but barely. She knew what she had to do.

It took her a while, but she eventually got down on her knees and prayed, “Our Father which art in Heaven, thank you for saving me from harm. Forgive me for my sins, and please, send me a Godly man.”

Not long after that, such a man came to her door and asked her out. They dated, remained celibate and married. Both remained faithful to each other and lived happily together until death. All their children knew they were loved and grew up to became loving parents and honest, law abiding citizens.

Loneliness and curiosity can be a deadly combination. We all become lonely or curious at times, but beware! Only a relationship where there is true love and mutual trust, lasts. A man or a woman that truly loves will not take advantage of the opposite sex, nor will they betray their God or spouse.
