a passage from a horror writer's journal....
This story is exclusive to my journal, and if you want to give this a read go over there -- it came from a nightmare I had when I was in Baltimore, Maryland, then fell sick for a week after returning to Chicago.  Ending up in a hospital for bronchitis.  This one will make some sense after reading "Evil Airs,"  but this is the kind of horror that will be the result of going to Baltimore and D.C.  for a week.   I wrote this in August of this year.
What stands in the dreams of a gothic author,  follow the link below and that will take you into a descending madness within the land of nod.  As Brigit will say with The House of Pain,  read at your own risk.   The depths of the macabre will come from within,  and even within the minds written of one -- the horrors have no boundries.   If some of you read my work before this thought I was a sick puppy,  this will take you one step future.   One step into a darkness one doesn't want to see before this.  Since I've been busy with the project of Tabloid Purposes and that shark story,  I haven't released anything in a while.  Consider this my halloween offering to the AuthorsDen.     Submitted for your approval.
No excepts from here on out on this one -- want to read this,  click on the link below.   Welcome to the darkness within the psyche.

OMG, i can so identify with this one--20 years ago, when i was in the united states air force, i wound up on the other end of the chart more than i wanted--ten hospitalizations and five surgeries in a two year period...and you wonder why i fear doctors now

an excellent, yet morbidly terrifying write--i think what's worse is the patient is no longer in control--they are at the mercy of the medical "establishment" who dictate tests, therapies and modems of treatment and the patient is more than likely to not stand up to God

welcome back to the land of the living, and happy HEALTHY halloween to you, my friend

(((HUGS))) and love, karla. :(

i'd love to order a copy of "tabloid purposes," how do i go about it? next paycheck--it's mine LOL

congrats on the book

Nick,

Some of the more grisly, gruesome, terrifying dreams one has in within the steely grip of fevered sickness. You've translated this phenomenon perfectly in this terror-filled entry.

Dark, moody stuff that I think we can all relate to during some point in our lives.

You've done it again...the KING OF NIGHTMARISH HORROR...

Terry
