My Trip To Glory

A True Experience of Annie’s
I had been in the hospital for two weeks. My room was at the end of the hall. I was making preparations to go home. Then all of a sudden, my mouth began to get numb, my hands were tingling and I was slowing loosing consciousness. I called the nurses’ station but did not get immediate help.
By this time, I knew that I was loosing it, and I said, “Lord, anything that I have done wrong; please forgive me and I’ll see you in a few minutes.”
The next thing I remember is being in the most beautiful field of flowers. It was just like a fresh meadow with God’s love surrounding me. There was a light that gave me the most wonderful feeling. It seemed to be drawing me to it and the feeling of comfort was so overpowering. The light was so bright and as I drifted closer, it appeared to be the silhouette of Christ.
As I was in the meadow with the beautiful light, I began to hear voices but could not respond. The light was drawing me closer and closer. The light was warm, not too hot nor too cold. The voices were calling me from a long way off. It was like a tug of war, the voices pulling me one way and the light another way. I did not want to leave the light.
I could hear voices and the doctor and nurse was working with me and calling my name.
I could not respond and then I heard the doctor say, “I think we have lost her.” I don’t think we can bring her back.”
The doctor told the nurse to call my husband.
She said, “I have but he is not at home.”
Lenard was already on his way to the hospital and it was not long until he came into the room. The doctor told him, he didn’t know he could save me or bring me back as she is not responding. Lenard refused to give up on me and began rubbing my face.
He said, "come back, I need you!”
Then I heard a voice from the light saying, “You cannot stay here now, you must go back. There is more work to be done as you continue with your ministry, I have promised you a long life and you are not finished yet.”
As Lenard continued to rub my face and talk to me, I finally began to come back and realized that I was alive but knew that I had been to Glory and gotten a glimpse of the most beautiful and peaceful place with Christ.
Do not be afraid of death, as there is a time of transition from death to life as your step out of this life into the next one. Once the transition is finished, the tug of war is over as you pass into eternity. If there is a person out there reading this that is not a Christian, this would be a good time to make Christ the Lord of your life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that. whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
