Healing Wounds
Taken from the Book "The Voices Within Us" by Jim Stewart
Two long-time friends of mine, Frank and Debbie, told me this story.
Frank is a volunteer Fireman and Medical Technician in the little community where he lives, just south of San Antonio., Texas. One night, while sitting around his house, Frank heard a call come over the police band that there had been a terrible accident near his house. Frank knew he could get there faster if he just went to the scene instead of going by the Fire Department and then to the scene. So, he hurried down the street to the scene of the accident.
When he got there, herecognized the injured party as one of the neighbor's daughters. He ran over to check her vital signs and saw her covered with blood. Aftyer checking her vital signs, he knew she was still alive, but he needed to get back to his truck to get some medical equipment. That is when this stranger-a young woman-approached him and said," I'm her best friend and will stay with her while you run back to your truck."
This mysterious woman held the girl in her arms while she waited for Frank. He came back and said,"Okay, I'm back now!" The mysterious woman told Frank that she needed to leave. So frank began to reevaluate the young girl, to see how to best help her.
Suddenly Frank noticed that the girls wounds from the accident were gone! The only injury he found was the pin from her name tag stabbing her breast. The young girl's clothes were covered with blood. In the mean time the mysterious woman appeared at the young girl's house. She just walked in and went to the back of the house where the girl's parents were and told them that their daughter had been in an accident, but she was going to be okay. Then the mysterious woman left. She was never seen again.
The young girl said she could not recall anybody by the description we gave her of this woman. The girl also walked away fr4om the accident.
Who was this mysterious woman? An angel of mercy perhaps?
