You just moved in to your new house and its time to meet the neighbors.
They come with good intentions. A grin beams from ear to ear. They say how happy they are to meet you. They tell you something about the neighborhood that you may not have known. But something is off. Your not sure what it is. You can feel it deep in your gut. In your soul. They promise a get together to come, sometimes giving you a welcome gift of some sort. They tell you about your house, usually an odd story or two. You might find out about the former owner and their weird quirks. As you stare at your neighbor, you wonder just who is weirder. Creeped out, you watch them return to their house, wondering just what happened. Relief sweeps over your features as your heart turns to its steady pace. Doubts set in about buying the house. Was it a mistake? Will your joy turn into a nightmare? If only you could have met the neighbors sooner or noticed that their house is a bit to close for comfort. Time will tell. But you can always sell the house.*****Find out about the strange neighbors in my book THE POND. Fanny and Charlie Gray are sure to delight you and give you the creeps. Tamera Lawrence, author
