Energy is ambient in forms many. Like sun, wind, wave, volcano, ... How to reap to a need is the problem? Today we have technology, not still commercial for common man, to put it to use. An expression of this in verses.

ONGC Energy Centre

- Taker & Giver

“All we do on the Earth in energy business comes from the Sun.
Of the many new tasks that we have in hand,
The ONGC Energy Centre perhaps, more than any thing else,
Will bring us, as an organization, closer to the Sun.”
 SUBIR RAHA

The most beautiful thing we can experience is the mysterious.
It is the source of all true art and all science.
He to whom this emotion is a stranger,
Who can no longer pause to wonder and stand rapt in awe?
Is as good as dead: his eyes are closed!
Albert Einstein

Its dawn, wake up and hurry up,
‘Time glass shows run-out’ says the ‘chicken little’ on top,
Not in the traditional paths outdated,
Else shall remain tardy and belittled.

So says ‘A beginning made is half done’,
Care for the rest to come up in the nest,
There are many forms hovering in the blue undone,
Put them to test and equip to give the best.

There is waiting and hope for in plenty,
At the name of OEC shall bounty,
Christened from inheritance that way,
Excel to find its way and earn hay.

It is talked in jouls, btus, calories, therms and wats,
With known to go from one to other by converts,
They number in Unit, deca, hecto, kilo, mega, giga,
Even go beyond to tera, peta, exa, zetta, Yotta,
Unveil thirst of the greedy bipedal intelligentsia!

The road running numbers large,
When and where to get a barge,
To harness exa, zeta, yotta joule,

Not to think of even the near ‘to be’.

Ready and rush to the lab,
If one in show case, grab,
Be a Sol and put onto mob,
Clean and green, let them cab.

Heading to Jubilee Golden the cream molden,
With the talents amuck gone certain,
Remaining hope to mend and repute,
Look for the young, poor and destitute.

Blind and undue to the evinced,
With no concern to the accomplished,
Right sitting in front but unconvinced,
Vehemently say ‘Gone with the wind’.

Look within door and out into the corner,
There are many an expert and a learner,
To reap any form of the nature giver,
There to put right onto the mover.

Talk, teach, present and propaganda on ‘efficiency’ dear,
With a brief on what a bulb and a wire,
How and what rotates a motor and a tyre,
Better as less as a measure on odometer.

Forget not the lower frequency sound,
Which hath given us the giants?
Now claim to have high to resolve loud,
But alas to only find the remaining tiny tots!

They have role too to make a dent,
In taking along what is meant,
May be thin and multifarious,
OK as long as fills vials.

Energy game is peculiar,
Need one to reap another,
Neither gets created nor destroyed,
But rare and dear in the form desired.

There in the skies contemplate OEC,
Flying the flag of ONGC,
Fishing Clouds, Capturing Lightening,
To run the Electric grid along,
Onto seas with the bumping Waves,
To energize the caves,
On-land playing the Sol and Wind
To bake, cook and grind.

So is the story of the OEC and the likes,
Let’s wish to clear the mess of strikes,
With the sight of a source,
Jump to bring into the course.

Dues.

All this and much more, to the one with Dawn as intender
Meant to ride over valley, vale, hill and dale,
From the one Intruder, with Dalia in the veil, that’s none other than Kale
To mend the Whale;
Remain ever, never to forget and give no chance to forgive.
