This is the perfect time of year to sort through through life and let go of things that don't serve you and incorporate new things and experiences that aid you in creating the life of your dreams.

An easy way to get started is the “50 in 24 hours” exercise. Pick a room in your home to get started in and toss out or give away 50 items in a 24 hour period.

Paper, magazines, unworn clothes, toys no longer played with; these are perfect candidates for release.

Go into your kitchen and sort through the “junk” drawers, you will find many items there that you can offer freedom to.

After you have gathered up your fifty items go through each room of your home and feel it. Is it inviting? Does the room make you feel welcome or does it say go away?

A simple shift of the furniture brings new life and energy into your home.

If table tops are too cluttered rearrange them in groupings. For example place all the little animals together, all vases together, etc. You will feel a big difference by having space between collectibles and removing dust.

Shoes and clothes are a mine waiting to be cleared out of unused items. If you haven't worn it in a year or two your probably aren't. Let it go. If you are holding onto clothes until you loose weight go ahead and release them and this action will help you to release excess body weight. Think of all the fun you'll have buying new clothes later.

Children's rooms are a treasure trove of items waiting to be relocated. Most areas have a group called freecycle, it's located on Yahoo groups. I love finding new homes for good stuff through this group.

Now that you've released your fifty items, go through your home and clap in each room, paying attention to the corners and behind doors. This breaks up stagnant energy and helps the flow of positive energy.

Lighting candles or incense help the flow as well and bringing a wonderful experience to the sight and or nose senses.

Burning a candle throughout the day keeps the energy clear in your home and brings you the message to relax and enjoy your life.
