Focus on Feeling Good, choose to Feel Good, and let the straws float by with a blessing for the reminder they bring to BE happy. My number one priority each moment of each day is Feel Good, just Feel Good.

How Important is Feeling Good?

Have you ever had a day where you felt really good? On this really good feeling day you smiled constantly, laughed and enjoyed each moment. Life seemed so easy, good feelings flowed into each other until a stream of good feeling gently moved you from one feel good experience to the next.

Take just a moment to remember one of these feel good days. The smile appears on your face, your heart swells with joy and happiness as you feel that experience all over again. Allow yourself a few minutes to really enjoy these feelings of bliss.

We’ve all had these feel good days. We long for them to return. Why don’t we experience feel good days each and every day?

Most of us have a habit of reacting to life experiences rather than directing our life experiences. Our happiness is then dependent upon happy things. When our happiness is dependent upon outside experiences, it comes and goes. However, when joy is our normal state we find that outside experiences reflect our inner state of bliss more often than not.

This is the reason that Feeling Good is so important. I recently experienced this in my own life. Things were going along nicely when one fine morning a series of small ‘unfortunate events” began showing themselves one after the other. I was doing great in the beginning while remembering that Happy is Inside not outside. Then the proverbial straw that broke the camel’s back happened, I gave in to outside influences and forgot to feel good. I started reacting to the things that were happening and of course by law of attraction, I began attracting more of these like things.

Thankfully, I caught myself quite early in the game and went to my quite place to balance my energy and reclaim my natural state of joy. I realized during this process that feeling good, for the sake of feeling good, is one of the most important choices I make each day. My thoughts lead to feelings, my feelings then lead to attracting more of like energy for me to experience.

How often do we let go of a beautiful day by focusing on the little straws that happen in our lives? Understanding the power and importance of Feeling Good serves us well. We get to choose what we think and how we feel.

I am asked often, “but what about all these bills, the kids, my husband, my job, my car”? Those are the straws in life. They are in your life due to choices made in the yesterdays of your thinking and feeling experiences. They are also the result of choices made by people in your life that you chose to interact with. While we can’t control the choices of others, and really wouldn’t want that all consuming job, we do get to choose how we act or react to them.

By taking the time each morning to set your choices on feeling good thoughts, you don’t give in to the straws that float around you during the day. You realize that these straws have no power one by one, it’s only when you grab hold of them and tie them into a bundle that their strength influences your joy.

Focus on Feeling Good, choose to Feel Good, and let the straws float by with a blessing for the reminder they bring to BE happy. My number one priority each moment of each day is Feel Good, just Feel Good.

Staying focused on my intention to Feel Good allows me to attract more and more experiences to Feel Good about. As I move through my day and the straws float now and again, I just smile, thank them for the reminder and go about my business of Feeling Good.

Feel Good,
Donna
