We are all in pursuit of abundance and prosperity. We look for it and work for it and dream of it.

We are all in pursuit of abundance and prosperity. We look for it and work for it and dream of it.

Yesterday I had an epiphany about abundance.

I was driving to town and thinking about this subject when all of a sudden I looked and saw trees everywhere. I noticed that on the trees were thousands of leaves.
Next I looked at the clouds and sky, so much abundance of beautiful sky and fluffy white clouds.
I realized I was surrounded by air, there was no place that it was not.

I then began noticing cars, homes, people, abundance again.

When I arrived at the store I was amazed at the abundance of food; it was filling shelves and bins.

Back home, I saw abundance of room, furniture, clothes, pets, people who love me and whom I love.

I have abundance of computers, high speed internet, web buddies.

There is abundance of knowledge available at the stroke of a key.

I experience abundance of thought, feelings, joy, and happiness whenever I choose.

This really made an impact on me. Rather than striving for the “elusive abundance” in my life, I woke up to what already IS. There is no place abundance is NOT.

I am surrounded by it at all times, we all are.

The question is, are we noticing? Are we paying attention to abundance?

It’s like going to the candy store. Row after row of candy. All shapes, tastes, colors and size.

Which ones do I choose to notice, to interact with?

There is no need to struggle and strive for abundance. It’s already in play. Just notice it and choose which aspect to interact with.

Most of us are programmed to notice lack in our lives. This noticing gives way to feelings of depression, frustration and aggravation, which leads to dis-ease.
The more focused we are on what is not the way we want it, the more of this same energy is attracted into our lives.

We create a cycle, which perpetuates itself, until we shift our thoughts and expectations, thus changing the cycle.
As long as we are focused on what we don’t have, we attract more of this like energy.
Once we shift into a different mode of thinking and expecting, our reality shifts with it.

What are you noticing? The answer is very obvious, you are noticing what you have the most of in your life right now. If you are not happy with what you are experiencing, shift your attention and notice something different.

Abundance, love, joy; always around us, always available, are you noticing?

Hello Donna-
What a very inspiring article! Thanks for the reminder- truly we have "been given fullness in Christ(Colossians 2:10)" and "His divine power has given us EVERYTHING WE NEED FOR LIFE and godliness..."(2 Peter 1:3
that we should "set our hearts on things above not on earthly things" (Colossians 3:2). Thanks to God Who loves us and provides for our needs in ways that we do not expect and gives everyday miracles to delight us with His presence. We may not have the ipods and the latest laptops but NOTHING MISSING NOTHING LACking. "SHALOUM"
God with us!!!
