First, the acronym for f.e.a.r. stands for False Evidence Appearing Real. It is false in that the object, situation or person that you fear is not real. The bible says we are not to fear anything. We are to only fear God as we must reverance Him as being Holy and we must obey His commandments.
Evidence. In order to proof your case, you must have over 51% evidence that shows that a situation is true. If there is evidence that refutes that situation, the case should be thrown out or dismissed. For all believers, we are to fear nothing. If Christ be for us, who or what can be against us? Christ is our lawyer. He will be our advocate defending us in all cases. If you are not a follower of Christ, you have the burden of trying to defend yourself, which decreases your ability to win the case.
Appearing. We must not just a book by its cover all the time. We must be careful as believers. The enemy will make all situations and thoughts to be appear to be real. Remember, the enemy disguises himself as a angel of light. You must compare the situation with what God says in the bible.
Real. As Christians, we operate and should live our lives according to truth. If you can't say yes 100%, then 9 times out of 10, it isn't true. We should givern ourselves according to the Word of God at all times.
Be encouraged brothers and sisters!!! God has not given us a spirit of FEAR, but a spirit of power, a spirit of love and a sound mind (II Timothy 1:7).
