Should Ted Kennedy's purported treasonous acts be ignored because he's dead?
Should Ted Kennedy’s actions tantamount to treason be ignored? What’s more important – the future of our nation or the feelings in Camelot?
I received an email with a link to Ted Kennedy Should Have Been Arrested for Treason. After reading it, I thought it worthy of passing on so I posted the link on Facebook. One friend made a comment with his opinion of the Kennedy clan as a whole, and the next comment was from a friend that thought we should leave him alone because he’s dead, that we shouldn’t air his ‘mistakes’. I countered that because he is now dead doesn’t make Ted Kennedy a saint. Treason isn’t a ‘mistake’, it isn’t an error in judgment such as drunkenly carousing with young coeds might be viewed. (For the record, I don’t consider a death resulting from poor judgment to be a ‘mistake’ either, but that’s another article).
