A science fiction fantasy series
It seems a long time when I started six books ago. The idea was of a space agent called Jim Long who travelled the galaxy trying to solve all manner of complicated incidents. The first book written before computers had developed and handwritten with a biro pen. The long hours of writing, correcting and changing the text put strain and an indent on my index finger. The second book recorded on a tape recorder with many trips up the sea front on a bicycle. The new Amstrad computer was out by then, and the memory was on each disk. The third book started as the computer market became established, and drafting became a joy, placing the story on the pages, adjusting and putting ideas down. How to finish it came in the second chapter and the ideas quickly placed two pages below with other chapter developments.
The fourth book has a large second section that leads to a history 3000 years in the past that also has a future incident. The fifth book started in what became the fifth chapter (dramatically obvious at this point) and upon its completion, the first chapter then began leading towards it. The ending came to me in the penultimate chapter at the very end.
After careful consideration, there is now completed a bibliography of the series. All the details appertaining to the Galaxy Space Police federation are now in a new complimentary colour PDF book attached to this article. There are full explanations of the headquarters, the rank structures, the different craft and operations, and equipment. Information also includes the unusual and amazing out of body diary details and thoughts of Jim Long space agent and his team.
