Recently within our great country God has become a major source of controversy within our society...GOD! The 2004 Presidential election shouted to the world where GOD stands in the hearts and minds of the majority of the American people...the PEOPLE! I'm not talking about a group of left wing politicians, the elite media or a group of Hollywood liberals whose primary interest in their lives is a "close-up", their "Billing" and making a fashion statement! And now these certain self-serving individuals are fighting to remove the words, "Under GOD" from the Pledge of Allegiance to OUR flag! They have easily forgotten who they are and where they came from. I'm quite positive their parents didn't raise them with their current concepts of God and Country. Now it appears to be "fashionable" to knock GOD and all he stands for within our lives. It fills me with pure disgust whenever I hear this battered about in the news. It sickens me to listen to these individuals as they use the Constitution as the excuse to eliminate God from our lives by constantly quoting the "Separation of Church and State". I firmly believe any reasonable person easily understands our "Founding Fathers" did NOT mean this in the manner in which these individuals would like us to think they did. A few years ago, a movie called The Last Temptation of Christ was released. In this film it depicts Christ having sex. The elite media and Hollywood applauded this film as pure art, and wonderful and all the rest of that phony bullshit! And now Mel Gibson makes a beautiful film about the final hours in the life of Christ and he is considered a religious fanatic and hater of Jews! The media instantly fills the airways with negative comments about Gibson and condemns the film. Hollywood follows suit and would rather praise films filled with child molesters, murderers and the such. This Christmas season was filled with comments from "talking heads" who continued to push their agenda of eliminating any and all concepts of God from our lives. Who would have ever thought that saying "Merry Christmas" would become a politically incorrect greeting? Although it is a federal holiday celebrating the birth of Christ, our citizens are reduced to using the term, "Happy Holiday". No longer do these powerful few want us to sing the beautiful and holy songs of Christmas. The wonderful traditions our lives and country were built upon are now under attack by a small group of left wingers who have an avid desire for our country to "fall in line" with the thought process in Europe and Canada. Even the tradition of Santa Claus is being reduced to a "fear syndrome" because it "offends" some people, and makes them "feel" uncomfortable. These weirdos should try wiping their asses with a steel wool pad...now THAT's uncomfortable! How is it possible for a tradition that brings warmth, joy, love and happiness into the hearts of people, especially children, be considered as offensive? If you don't believe in the tradition of Santa Claus...that's fine. Tell the world about it...that's you're right as an American citizen. But DON'T try to push a political agenda to eliminate him, Christmas, God and the beautiful songs of the season from our hearts and minds! For those who will continue to do this, I say this to you...SCREW YOU!!! If you don't believe in GOD; if you don't believe in the tradition of Christmas; if you don't believe in saying "Under GOD" in our pledge of allegiance, then keep it to yourselves! Don't push your crap off on the majority of our American citizens.In my opinion, groups such as the American Civil Liberties Union don't really give a damn about people's rights...they have agendas. They're a group of lawyers, just like the majority of politicians are, who are the lowest form of scumbags I've ever had the displeasure to listen to as they whine about constitutional rights of the people. But one thing is for certain, you'll NEVER hear a politician who is against the words, GOD and Christmas ever stand up in public and openly admit it. They'll do what they do best...dance around the subject! If they were to actually stand up, and without hesitation, say to the American public: I don't want the words, "Under God" in the Pledge of Allegiance; I don't want the word, Christmas, to ever be used; I don't want Nativity scenes to ever be placed on public property and I DEFINITLEY don't want these things ever mentioned in a public school, I can promise you these maggots will NEVER be re-elected to public office. Why? Because the majority of American citizens have a belief in their God and enjoy celebrating the Christmas season and all that it represents. These advocates of a totally secular American society are the same people that hate our Armed Forces; our military men and woman who have volunteered to protect the safety of our country and its people. If you want to stand up and bad-mouth our military personnel and what they represent, then I'm here to tell you this: This old retired G.I. is prepared to give you some-kind of a great ass-whoopin'!!! I'm reaching out right here on my site and asking all you G.I.s and retired G.I.s who have a web-site to start fighting back on your own sites. Let these politicians know how you feel and where you stand. I really don't give a shit how many negative hits I take because of what I've said here. If you want to knock GOD and our Pledge of Allegiance to our great flag and what it represents then I strongly suggest you go else where to push your liberal agendas. I'm not trying to say you can't express an opinion...I'm saying don't try and PUSH your agendas on the majority of the people who are tired of all your bullshit! How easy it is for these individuals to forget the men and women in the military who gave they're lives to keep our country safe. Every time I watch the news and see our military fighting and dying on foreign soil to prevent the possibility of it ever happening in our country, my heart is filled with pride for these great men and women. Here is my parting comment: If you want to dump on GOD, my flag, my country, the military and patriotism, I strongly suggest you NEVER do it around me! Tuffy
