When I feel like I am dying

Why is it when I gain something

I lose so much more than I count for

Why does the sun shine

But stay dark within my heart

Why does the star still shine above

Even thou the moon are gone to sleep

Why does my tears still fall

When I feel numb…nothing at all

Why does my eyes shine

Knowing my heart is dying

Am I losing another precious friend

Why am I still trying

It’s because I love you

With one foot on a banana peel

The other in my mouth
