~ Choices~
I saw a movie today about a guy that was afraid to come out of the closet. His family was very religious and wouldn’t accept who he had become. The young man moved away for a few months and sinned in his family’s eyes. He knew his family would never accept him and he felt like he had no choice but to end his life.
He jumped off a bridge because he sinned and couldn’t be that person his family expected him to be. When I finished watching the movie I started to cry…No one should be so UN happy that they take their own life. The two things that the parents did wrong was force their beliefs on him; then condemn him when he strayed.
I was very against gay people because I believe in Adam and Eve and still do. Those are my beliefs and I should always have my own choice. I will not look down upon anyone that chooses a different life style because it is their life, and they are supposed to be free. Can’t we make our own choices and not be judged because of them? We do live in a free country right?
I will let my children choose their own life and support them in all their choices. No one should be judged because of their nationality, learning disabilities, or sexual preferences. I do think it is wrong when men live two different life styles. They are afraid to come out so they live a secretive life.
The wife deserves to know for so many reasons. Other than that; it is their choice and if they want to marry the same sex partner they should be able to. They deserve the same support as anyone else. They are not a disease because they chose the same sex. They shouldn’t be afraid to be who they are.
My heart goes out to anyone that has been treated wrong because of their sexual choice. Bottom Line: Treat others like you want to be treated. The judging has got to stop!! We all need to love one another for who we are on the inside. We all have a heart, and it can be broken and never repaired if someone says something to hurt ones self. That repair cannot be mended and possibly end in suicide or serious depression.
