If it's something you do that you love, no one has the right to pull you away from that purpose God put in YOUR life.

TOP TWO REASONS WHY DO PEOPLE FAIL AT NETWORK MARKETING. Resource: Chris Widener, “The Invisible Profit Zone.”

 

 

Reason 1:

Not having the proper expectations. Reality & expectations of $499 are just as valuable as paying $1 million. Great things don’t fear time.

 

Reason 2:

Most people never build the basic foundation for duplication. Team building is critical. Build your house with a solid character foundation to withstand the storms. Don’t get emotional about the length of time it takes to build a foundation.

 

  1. Ask yourself, “What kinds of people do I attract to myself?”

 

    1. Teachable people or hard-headed people?
    2. Visionary people or short-sighted people?
    3. Long-term thinking people or microwave thinking people?
    4. Ethical busy people or excuse-making lazy people? 
    5. Business minded acumen or paycheck-to-paycheck people?
    6. Caring people or selfish people?

 

Since the beginning of time, people quit everything. They quit church, school, marriage, jobs, marathons, life, and even your YTB business.  If you don’t have the right people at first, SO WHAT?

 

The ones who never duplicate are not willing to be teachable. They do not stay plugged in. One day the room is full and your business is the talk of the town. Then 30 days later, the real people stick, while the trendy people fade away. Learning ain’t easy. But it holds you in place to get what you said you wanted for your family.

 

Name the top 10 “whys” of your reasons for being a YTB Travel Store owner.  People who leave your team has nothing to do with your belief. Cement yourself in, obstacles will come. The structure may fall but the foundation will be there.

 

People are no different than one of these nice new fancy phones. They can have all kinds of services and bells and whistles…but if you take that phone for granted, and you don’t charge it up on a regular basis. . .IF YOU DON’T GET YOUR ENERGY AND PLUG IN….your business will be as lively as a phone gone dead.

 

Most people don’t leave you. They just drift away because life as beat them up, and there was no one there in their sponsorship to help them re-charge their reason for being in business for themselves.

 

Consider the human resources/personal development part of your business. Find the fundamentals are in the Team Vision Core 6 as well as books. (www.goteamvision.com).

 

 

It takes at least 60-90 days of follow-up to get results from the seed we plant. Remember that many times, over time, someone who said no to you will be the resource of a “yes” that comes from a referral you never even met.

 

WE ALL CAN DO THIS.  EVERTHING ALWAYS TAKES LONGER THAN WE EXPECT. THE FOUNDATION SOMETIMES TAKES LONGER TO SETTLE THAN WE EXPECT. DO NOT MISTAKE A SHORT PERIOD OF DISAPPOINTMENT DERAIL YOUR PERSPECTIVE IN THE MIDST OF THIS RECESSION.

 

RE-FOCUS.  RE-COMMIT. RE-FINE YOUR MIND BEFORE 2009!

 

Do not take your team members for granted. Be thankful for them all, especially your foundational people. Give them time. Give yourself time. Build on what you do have.

 

It took 7 years for YTB to build a solid foundation. As a company we are already beyond the $1 billion dollar travel bookings before the end of 2008, just as predicted.

 

Get people who are looking and people who just love to save money on travel  to tune into the Dec. 2, 2008 Biggest Travel Party in the World, happening in at least 17 major cities, also broadcast over the internet.
