Publish America hosted a wonderful convention on February 27,28,29th. Valerie Maria Boggess, author of Paeans attended the convention in Frederick, Maryland.
Publish America hosted a multi-author book signing convention in Frederick, Maryland. The convention was marvelous. There were 158 authors, out of three hundred convention attendees.
Margaret Hodapp, author of Hidden Legacy, and I drove approximately 995 miles to reach the convention. It was a lovely trip.
We attended writer's seminars hosted by Publish America authors, on Friday night and Saturday morning. On Saturday, I took a trip to the Gettysburg battle fields, by touring coach. It was a memorable event. On Saturday evening, we attended a dinner banquet.
The founders of Publish America, Lawrence Clopper and Willem Meiner hosted the event. On Sunday, Margaret Hodapp and I attended the multi- book signing at the FrederickTowne Mall. It was lined with tables covered in tablecloths, the whole length of the Mall. I was proud to be a part of the Publish America Convention 2004. I hear reports that it will be listed as the largest book signing, in the Guiness's World Record Book. The last recorded was 66 authors in 1999.
Margaret and I had a wonderful trip. I wish to extend my gratitude to all of the Publish America staff that made the Convention a wonderful event. We are hoping that Publish America hosts another convention next year. Thanks PA for a wonderful event!

| Valerie, enjoyed reading "Ordinary People" Found so much of my own emotions and feelings there, for, like you,I write to glorify my Lord, for without His Spirit, I am just a shell, empty and void of anything worthwhile. I cannot seem to write frivolously or just to entertain the flesh of readers, give them a sensual thrill or an exciting short lived spine chilling experience. So many starving souls out there, fat flesh, but empty in their spirit. Thank you for your beautiful thoughts. |

| Hey, girl - we did have fun but learned a lot about marketing, promotion and selling books, too. You are a great traveling companion. We will have to do that again. Margaret |
