Black cats always were attracting human's attention. From worship to hate - the range of feelings, but rarely indifferent reaction.
White cats look adorable... Red (orange) cats identify with little tigers. The wild-colored cats are...
Well, here people are separated once again, having diametric opinions. Some people thinks that it is cool to have such a little "wild beast" as a pet, but some think that the "wild" coloration is too primitive, dull and plain.
Whatever the color of the cat, it is a little beast. Lovely and lazy, active and aggressive, they stay with and make some humans literally crazy.
Who can resist smiling when seeing a cute tiny kitten?
Even a stone heart will melt, hearing a cat purring, especially when it' stroking its head against your legs.
An old joke: A dog thinks: 'My master feeds me, looks after my needs, he protects me he is God!'
A Cat thinks: 'My master feeds me, looks after all my needs, he protects me I am God!'
This is why some people don't like cats, but it's easy to be a master if the creature wants to be a slave.
On the contrast, if you can win the tiny heart of a little carnivore, you can be proud of yourself, as a human, as a being what God created a man to do; "have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the air and over every living thing that moves upon the earth." (Genesis 1:26-28)
