Hypoallergenic formula is easier for babies to tolerate and often recommended in the prevention and treatment of those who have allergies. Digesting hypoallergenic formula is often easier on little stomachs because of the break down of proteins.

Being a new mother it is hard enough deciding if you should breast feed or bottle feed. What happens though if your little one cannot tolerate the standard formula? Used in both the prevention and treatment of babies with allergies Hypoallergenic formula is easier to digest. The babies tolerate and have a simpler time digesting the hypoallergenic formula since the proteins are broken into little pieces. The predigested state that the babies consume this formula in helps curb most allergic reactions. Hypoallergenic formula, still derived from cow's milk, is comparable in nutritional value to the standard formula. Keep in mind that there is a difference between hypoallergenic formula and soy formula.
