We aren't so far apart, yet we are not so close. This is a journey of a Christian in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the questions of his faith in Muslim territory.
‘Do not be upset if I ask you a question?’ He said.
‘It is okay you can ask away.’ I replied I was listening to Youssef Mohammed as if in a trance.
‘Your religion, it is related to science or not?’
‘What do you mean by this?’
There were passages in the bible that I had seen and read that could be used to prove some of the technicalities that we saw in our lives to day but there was no purpose in this proof. It was an open ended pursuit to prove that there was a God by fuelling our own desires in pursuit of his existence.
‘I mean your religion, it can explain things you see, like the sun the moon, the stars?’ he asked.
‘Faith is not based on what we see, it is based on our relationship with God, so even if there is any relationship to the moon and the stars it does not mean very much,’ I replied, now curious at where he was headed for.
