Building the Taj Mahal is not even token payment for the devestation mankind has perpetrated upon this planet ...

It is highly interesting and educational to learn how each type of living thing has enhanced the environment of Planet Earth.

The tiniest microbes break down particulate matter and produce nutrients which enrich the soil so that trees may flourish. Birds and bats deposit seeds of plants and trees far and wide so that flowered meadows are born from deserts and new forests sprout and grow. Trees and plants produce the oxygen we need.

But our statement:"...each type of living thing has enhanced the environment of Planet Earth" is not quite true . Humans have done nothing but use the planet and destroy its bounty.

Mankind, right from his very beginning, has defaced the earth and squandered the earth's resources in his greed-driven bid for riches and fame. Meadows have been turned into fly-blown landfills. Lowland orchards have been hacked down to make room for glass and steel skyscrapers. Lakes and rivers and coastal waters have been polluted beyond repair. Birds die from breathing our exhaust-fumed atmosphere.

And religious apologists make the excuse that God gave mankind "free will," which simply says that we can choose whether to help the old lady across the street, or we can choose to push her in front of the trolley car. We suppose that the apologists are saying that it is all God's fault. Whatever turns us on is okay because God gave us the right to do that. Curiouser and curiouser.

It becomes difficult to credit the concept that God created our human race, unless God is illogical and careless. Regardless, we are sure that God would never repeat this experiment.
