Summary of 'how to' classes.

You may have visited the Bolz Conservatory, strolled through the rose garden or sat quietly for a few moments at the Thai Pavilion at the Olbrich Botanical Garden, 3330 Atwood Ave. Madison, WI but there is much more.  Olbrich offers a variety of classes open to both members and non-members that are quite afforadable.

Examples of fall classes for adults are:  Design Ideas to Shrink Your Lawn; Design Ideas for Eco-friendly gardens; Permaculture Water Solutions; The Art of Fall Garden Clean-up; and, Evergreens for the Northern Midwest.  To help prepare for winter, classes include:  Holiday Bulbs; Ornamental Winter Container; Winter Interest in the Garden and How to Make Gourd Holiday Ornaments.

There are also classes for families with young children, such as:  Toddler Story & Stroll:  Autumn Adventures, Dinosaur Domes; Positively Pumpkins; and, Beasts in the Conservatory.

For details on fall classes see
