God you ARE amazing! Thank you for what you did with the 33 miners in Chile.

Something wonderful is going on in Chile and YOU are such a big part of it. You

kept those men down in that tomb together..it was your amazing keeping power

that helped Luis Urzua, the foreman, keep it together for all his men.

A young man of 27 years old who happened to be expecting the birth of his first son, openly

declared that before the mine accident, he never prayed. It was during his time of

confinement that he learned about the power of prayer. That baby

was due to be born today, exactly one day after his father was rescued!

God, this shows me that you will go to great lengths to reach people...You are being

praised on TV!!

After Luis Urzua did what he did for his men, this is yet more proof that there are still

plenty of great men in the world. There are still self-less men and women out there

doing extraordinary things for God.

The most touching aspect of this whole miracle in Chile for me was when I heard that

Luis Urzua kept his men busy by working them 12 hour shifts; there's nothing like good

'ole work to keep morale up. He rationed the food by giving each man 2 teaspoons of

tuna and a half a glass of milk every other day. He even went as far as turning on the

head lights of his pick up truck, to simulate sun light, thus giving his men hope.

Wherever Luis Urzua is, God, Bless him with a double portion and bless all the people

involved in the rescue. For the people behind the scenes are the true heroes in this

drama; the ones whose faces we don't see or hear about. The ones who stayed there

for 22 and 1/2 hours bringing up man after man. These and Luis Urzua are the true heroes!

I also laude the president of Chile, Sebastian Pinera, for having been at the rescue site

for 22 and 1/2 hours, greeting each and every one of those men with a hearfelt hug and

words of deep gratitude for them.

Chile has shown the rest of the world a true spirit of unity! Every miner who was pulled out

of the mine was wearing a t-shirt that had "Gracias al Senor!" written across the front and

Jesus in bright red letters on the sleeve. These people know the power behind the rescue

and they gave credit where it is due. They know the master mind behind the rescue and

they are not ashamed to praise Him. Now THAT is a nation of faith!!
