The National Debt …

A History Lesson

Here is another example of the Republican “do as I say, not as I do” attitude ...

Republicans like to talk about “fiscal responsibility” yet their actions tell a different story.  They “talk the talk” but do they “walk the walk”?  Apparently Not!

Read the facts here:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_debt_by_U.S._presidential_terms

The numbers don’t lie.  Historically, the largest increases in federal spending and federal debt have occurred during Republican administrations.  And they call themselves "conservative"!

Like The Wizard of Oz, Republicans shout “pay no attention to that man behind the curtain!”  Do they really believe that all Americans are so gullible?  Apparently so.  I, for one, will Not be fooled by their chicanery!

My hope is that the majority of Americans will learn and remember this valuable lesson of History.

Joseph, The Republican party don't care about spending. It where it goes that's the issue. If you give our tax money to the ultra rich or as corporate welfare, this is wonderful to Republicans. Give it to the schools of elderly, you are seen by the Republicans as a Socialist. Anyone with an income under 100.000 a year and voting Republican, is voting for self defeat.

Yeah, but your pretender in chief has alread broken all records and, unless stopped, has only just begun to build debt that all of our great grandchildren will be paying for.
