Bring our troops home Now!

America’s illegal invasion and occupation of Iraq will be recorded as one of the biggest mistakes ever made in U.S. History.  From the day of the invasion, we’ve wasted untold billions of U.S. Taxpayer Dollars (about $12 Billion/month) and sacrificed thousands of American lives as a consequence.  And for what?  There is absolutely no justification, whatsoever.  Among other falsehoods, some people still cling to the illusion that the invasion was about liberating the Iraqi people from the tyrant Saddam Hussein.  They want to claim moral ground for the crime committed.  The fact of the matter is that more innocent Iraqi Civilians have been killed as a result of the U.S. invasion than the total number murdered by the Saddam Hussein regime during the entirety of his rule over Iraq.

Joseph Stiglitz, former chief economist of the World Bank and winner of the Nobel Prize in Economics, has stated the total costs of the Iraq War on the US Economy will be Three Trillion Dollars in a moderate scenario, and possibly more.  Just think of the positive impact this kind of money would have on the U.S. Economy if we invested it in America instead of on Iraq!

Please contact your elected representatives and demand that they take immediate action in order to bring about the responsible and safe withdrawal of American troops from Iraq as soon as possible.  Responsible, intelligent people, businesses and countries admit their mistakes and take action to correct them as quickly as possible.
