When I left my small home country town,
I moved to a city, then I underwent some dramatic life changes, I have written a poetic diary from the last fifteen years of my life, A journey from dispear, to a way to redemption,
Through this journey I have written of my heartaches, my transistions, my highs, my addictions, my abuses, my deadly psychotic episode and then my point of being saved from this, and my new look on life and what I have learnt along the way. This poem is an extract from my book, near the start of my Journey.
The city's other side.
Sunset,
Then the darkness pours on
Vapour breath exhales
The night lights echo circles in the dense fog
Streets seem desolate,
Opposed to the day to day stream
Traffic,
Common and well to do folk,
Departed like dust in a breeze,
Meer memories
Emerging from corners
A new society,
Wrapped in grunge,
Heavy thick attire
Their eyebrows glisten and gleam
All different,
But searching the same
A nervous craving for the music high
Where the city's beats rule the underground.
A place where the lost seem found
