Sometimes the work we do, does not truly reflect who we are.

I sat by my window, and watched  as the garbage truck came by; Its the kind where young strong men had to lift the containers and dump it in the truck. The kind of garbage that get's picked up once a week. It does not smell very good. I watched as they drove off to the next one, and the next. I close my eyes and say a prayer; and try to count my blessings.

You may ask what blessings?  well lets connect the dots.Well I thank God for my Grand baby. But what  would my house smells like if  I couldn't put out the dirty diapers along with other things. Then I  thank him for the health and strength to be able to take it  to the gate where it can be picked up. I thank him for the country that I live in. That the streets are kept nice and clean and safe. I thank him that there is a location for the men to take it to,  and for the other people who work there  to sort it out.

These are people we never see or hear about;  but like unsung hero's they are there doing a job that you and I wouldn't do.

So I ask the LORD to bless them all, in the name of JESUS.

I thought also of other so called "dirty jobs" And I prayed Lord you know why these people are where they are, doing what they are doing.  Yes they do get paid; and I wonder if they are paid well. Able to take care of their families like they should, even little daughter and grand-daughters May God Bless them and keep them safe on the "JOB"
