Dell is a prominent man living the American dream, an educated man with multiple college degrees and he is a thriving, hard working man of moral fiber. He values and respects the woman as the most beautiful creature ever created by God. He is a man making a mark in the world. He discovered that he not only has his own demons to face but betrayal of a misguided assumed loyal friend that takes it all away. Dell stands on principles, living a polished life, but when his best friend steals his identity and creates a life with it, Dell goes through a life changing experience at a poverty level never imagined. Dell fights to survive while his best friend stays one step ahead of him and is purposely keeping him down.  Once Dell discovers and faces the reality of his troubles, suddenly he is faced with the decision of taking revenge or trusting in the God he believes in.

Frances struggles to survive as a pregnant teen and discovers a cold world when she is disowned by her parents. She is overwhelmed emotionally, as she deals with the turmoil of betrayal, abandonment and the shameful pride of living on the streets. Now out on her own with no guidance; longing for love, she places her trust in a murderer who hides her identity, and puts her and her daughter in danger. Weak to the sympathy for a mother figure, she finds her life changed forever and taking on more responsibility then she can handle. Encountering unbelievable situations to the rut of her circumstances, fighting the odds against her to be the woman she envisioned for her and her child’s life. Frances eagerly embraces the possibilities of triumph through prayer.

Rough Patch Twisted Fate is a well written book by Ton’e Brown. It leaves you grasping for breath with each characters whirlwind of challenges. It’s juicy, exhilarating and inspiring. You won’t want to put it down until you reach its twisted fate.
