I hope winter is treating you well, and the Season of Yule is bringing you all that you desire. Right now, I am drumming up some feedback / reviews of sorts from all you kind readers and writers / reviewers who have graciously taken a free copy of Wicked Karnival - Halloween Horrors. Those of you who have read and commented on Queen of Samhain--my tale included in the collection that will be adapted into novel form, coming in 2007 from Lachesis Publishing--my many thanks for your kind comments and reviews.
If any of you who have commented to me personally on the tale, or any of you who have read and enjoyed and have not commented yet, would like to participate in this little ongoing blog blurbs idea I will be posting here, for Queen of Samhain, which becomes The Black Act, the full story of the Wise Women's Guild, in 2007, please contact me at:

Hello all my friends and depraved fiends!

I've been friends with Mr. Kevin James Hurtack for about two or more years now, and let me tell you, when this quiet thinking man pays you a compliment, take it to heart and be flattered! Kevin is a great guy with a intelligent, artistic mind and a clever philisophical streak. He is also one of my favorite contemporary dark poets! And he illustrates! Am I jealous? Freakin' right I am! (That's why I harrass him with surveys! lol)

Now, for a lovely blurb I am sailing on a cloud on:
Intriguing as the Will O'Wisps and as alluring as a wood nymph, the writing of Louise Bohmer is not unlike a passage from a Book of Shadows, casting a delightful spell upon the reader. Drawing influences from the Celts and Druids, while aptly portraying genuine human qualities, Louise has created a world that is vividly fantastical and yet grounded in the human condition. But be warned my fellow reader, although this literary world may appear lush and ideal on the surface, there are plenty of heinous and dark things lurking behind each page. Waiting for the moment to drag you down to its murky depths.

Thankee, again, to Kevin!
And, now, another set of blurbs from someone I have recently met, here, in the haunted depths of My Space. His name is R.S. Jonasson II, but call him Rob for short. Rob is a bit o' the renaissance man, you will find, if you check out his page here on My Space. He is a student of the occult and many things mystical and arcane, a writer and an actor, and also a director and film student, I believe. If you'd like to learn more about Rob, check him out here at My Space at: http://www.myspace.com/pyriell
And here is what Rob had to say about Queen of Samhain~
"I actually felt that story, or rather the character, or rather the character's transformation LOL! You have creepy descriptive excellence! Oh... that was a compliment."
"As short stories go, Louise Bohmer's "Queen of Samhain" was excellent! I can't wait for "The Black Act" to come out!.... No, not a plug-truth! It was fantastic! First time in a while that I've gotten a visual that made my skin crawl even a little LOL! If you're wondering, it was the transformation. There's just something about eyes... *shudder* AWESOME!"

That's it for blurbs for now, all. Remember, if you would like a FREE e-book copy of WK - Halloween Horrors with Queen of Samhain included, please e-mail me at: blackfaery76.yahoo.ca with "Queen of Samhain" in your subject line.
Dark and nasty dreams to all!
