I have missed all my friends in here, I hope you have missed me!
I have popped back in again, and hope to do so regularly. I have been recuperating, my thyroid has been sorted out and my health is getting near to perfect now.
Been very busy on my website and have been meaning to post more work in here. Time permitting I shall do that, but I want to wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A GREAT NEW YEAR!
Also, VERY HAPPY HOLIDAYS! For those who do not recognise Christmas.
By the way, do those people not celebrate Christmas at all? Do they pretend it doesn't exist, or do they join in anyway?
I would think it lovely to join in with whatever the Country you live in has for it's culture. (One can still keep its own too.) I love rituals, the pomp and ceremony of England, as well as America.
It has been wonderful being part of the fun of Halloween and Thanksgiving too! Nice run up to Christmas. Although I did miss the celebrations on 5th November, our 'Bonfire night.'
From childhood I have watched the 'Guy' burn on the bonfire as we enjoyed tomato soup and toffee apples. We ate potatoes afterward, pulled out from the embers of the fire. Watching those beautiful colours unfold as the fireworks went off high in the sky. It was so much fun!
But, my most favourite time is New Years Eve. I love going into every new year with great optimisim. I have noticed though, the words of my mother seem to be true. If one goes into the new year with ill-health, sorrow or depression, or just plain unhappy, this continues all year long.
This is especially true for me and several others I know too. So, I make a special effort to make the evening lovely. Make sure my favourite people are around me, if possible. If it's just my immediate family that is still great. (My husband Rocky, pet Seva and most probably a lovely, loyal close friend I have made in the US, called Carol-Ann. She comes from California, has a wonderful musical country voice and plays some guitar.)
This is the beginning of the year I am to be launched! It is happening and I shall share it with you all too.

Donni-Jay!! Welcome back, girl; you have been missed!! Wonderful to know that you are on the mend, and I LOVE the picture!! Your baby is toooo adorable; I LOVE Pomeranians!! AWWW! (And the man isn't half bad lookin' either! LOL) Wonderfully happy write! Merry Christmas and a Happy, HEALTHY New Year to you too!!
