Story Logline:
What if Oz wasn’t a dream? What if Dorothy’s trip over the rainbow was real? It’s twenty years later and we’re about to find out. The Scarecrow has invented a tornado machine to carry himself, the Tin Woodman and the Lion over the rainbow to find Dorothy. But the Wicked Witch of the West is back and she has plans to destroy Oz. Whoever gets to those magic shoes first controls the fate of Oz and with time running out everyone is, In Search of Dorothy.

The Story begins as the movie, The Wizard of Oz, left off. Dorothy stands on a stage in the courtyard of the palace. On one side stand the Scarecrow, Tin Woodman and Lion and on the other side stands Glinda the Good Witch of the North. Dorothy clicks her heels together three times saying the phrase,” There’s no place like home, there's no place like home." On one of the clicks a small ruby falls off her magic shoes. As Dorothy is magically lifted back over the rainbow, the Scarecrow looks down and seeing the small ruby he picks it up and puts it into his pocket as a memento of the day unknowing of it’s great power.

| Okay, I've never reviewed a press release, but this story is for me. I'd love to read it, be it a short story, book, whatever. Sounds charming and clever--I want to see more! |
