A HAPPY HANUKAH TO ALL!
by John V Martin
With the passing of this Christmas, I wish all, a Happy Hanukah! Now, I am not Jewish, but I don’t really think you have to be Jewish to wish everyone joy on this wonderful Holiday. It just so happens that I do believe in the Miracle of Hanukah. But even if I didn’t, I would never take offense at anyone greeting me with a wish for a Happy and Pleasant Holiday by name. In this season of joy, that wish comes from the heart, and applies to “Merry Christmas” as well, regardless of your faith. If you feel someone might take offense because they may think you have mistaken them for a Jew or a Christian, then I am afraid you must think there’s something terribly wrong with being Jewish or Christian. If you find that to be the case, then you need the spirit of these holidays more than everyone else. God Bless and Keep!
