A degree of legitimate suspicion
I worked for a self made millionaire many years ago who only had an eighth grade education that he had obtained in Italy. Someone tried to stiff him for 30 gran, so he hired a lawyer who had graduated from Harvard Law School. The lawyer wrote a letter or two and even phoned the dead beat. Finally after three weeks my boss called the lawyer into the office and asked, “So where’s my money?” The lawyer went into a lone story which ended with, “So we’re not going to be able to collect the money.” For too with, my boss replied,” My friend, I am not paying you to tell me stories. I am paying you to get my money back.” The lawyer countered,” I am sorry but that can’t be done as I had explained.” My boss thought for a second and smiled, “You graduated from Harvard Law School. Right? The lawyer smiled with pride, “Why yes, with honors.” He smiled again, “It must have cost your Momma a lot of money to send you there, didn’t it? The lawyer responded, “Well, it is an expensive school.” My boss then replied, “I tell you what my friend, tell you Momma to get her money back, cause you didn’t learn a damn thing.
I mention this in reference to the actions of another Harvard Law School graduate. This guy makes accusations, and then supports them by selectively releasing “evidence” in the public media. When the accused demands that the evidence that vindicates his actions be released, he replies by saying, Oh, the jury of public opinion doesn’t need to see that evidence.” That my friends, is suppression of evidence and anybody who graduated from Harvard Law that doesn’t know that, needs to get their damn money back. Hence, people who mistakenly elect someone like that to be president need to get their country back. Unfortunately, it’s too late to get our money back.
