Crystals will amplify the entire energy field of ones body. If you wear the crystal over a particular part of your body it will focus more strongly in that particular area. The most recommended position is over ones heart. This may be accomplished by wearing a crystal pendant on a gold or silver chain from 18 to 22 inches in length.

Pointing the crystal up channels some of the energy into the upper chakras, this may stimulate some and cause others to be out of their bodies, very “spacey.” Wearing the crystal pointing downward there is a slight grounding effect as energy is directed toward to lower body. This has the tendency to bring people back into their bodies. It is recommended most people should wear points down to keep better grounded and more in tuned with the world. Though one should wear the crystal pointing up when praying or meditating, studying and taking tests. The rest of the time it is good to point them down.

If worn close to ones neck, the crystal will stimulate the thyroid and parathyroid glands. This is said to be excellent for respiratory problems such as congestion and sore throats. When worn over the heart, the crystal stimulates the thymus glands and increases the efficiency of the immune system for defense against disease. Wearing a crystal over the solar plexus will cause a stimulation in total body energies but also can increase your emotional field. Sometimes this is NOT wanted.

One should wear quartz crystals though lead crystal maybe hung in the sunlight to create beautiful rainbows within ones home. Rose quartz is the stone found most effective for emotional balance for heart problems. Citrine quartz works well for balancing the lower energy centers, including the sex center. Wearing either or both should help maintain balance.
