This article is about the various kinds of stimulants that get the writer going.
Writing comes naturally to me. I do not need a stimulant to write. Some people need some kind of stimulant to write. Some draw strength and motivation when they have over-exerted themselves with one form of exercise of the other. All of this is good. At least, one needs something to get going in this world that is full of crazy people and crazy ideas.
For one person, it is alchohol, for another, is may be a dose of heroine, a wiff of cocaine, a wrap of marijuana, etc - whatever!
Yet for another person, it is anything that can get their mind working - sometimes, it is music, it could still be a orgy of sexual intercourse.
A writer sjould expect inspiration to come upon him anytime like a hot coal on a windy day.
Whatever it is that stimulates and motivates you to write, let the muse be engaged steadily and regularly without ceasing. Without the writers of poems, prose, playwrites, and other genres of writing, the trouble in the world would have reached high heavens.
Moreso, who would have recorded all the terror, and goodnews in the world that is filled with demented people.
