Friends are nice
friends are mean
some fall somewhere
in between

Being consistent
is not always seen
in the moods of people
who party and scheme
*
Treasures they are
for we have our faults
look once, look twice
but take a good look
*
Be careful what you share
for it can spread like wild-fire everywhere
a delicate friendship as they are
should be handled with prayer near or far.

Here's hoping you are blessed in your choices of friendships you speak of here as you are a blessing to others. I well I echo your your well written and timely advice here, to beware the Brutus in your life, and to know and beware who holds the knife. To quote the Bard,
