If your cover is well designed, by all means, blow it up and provide a copy for bookstores that you proposition to carry your book to use in their window displays. Provide free posters with any order of ten or more books. Posters can be very productive in promoting children's books or any books which are valued for their cover designs or interior illustrations.
Bookstores love to receive posters as promotional items. Besides using posters in window or in-store displays, booksellers love to give them to teacher customers to use in the classroom.
On the blowups of your book covers, you can print taglines "AVAILABLE HERE" across the top or the bottom of the poster. Or you can print favorable reviews. Book cover posters help promote Internet booksales.
