Questions while driving through fog
A bit of a realization while returning home from another state and driving in fog. Fog is dangerous, but this time it seemed different. We were the only vehicle in sight in any direction. The highway extended only a short distance either ahead of us or behind us while on either side snow covered fields vanished into nothingness. We were suspended on a thin, short strip of visible concrete that went to the edge of vision. To one side was the edge of eternity - the other side was the edge of infinity. Just the two of us, our car, and the little strip of 'Now'. That was all we had.
Questions gushed forth - - -
Is this the way we are during our lifetime here in the physical world??
. . . unable to see clearly??
What is beyond out field of vision??
GOD sees all - we don't.
Our field of vision is blocked.
Is this part of the limitation we place upon ourselves??
. . . or have placed upon us??
Can some of us see further than others??
Why or why not??
Where are we going at highway speeds??
What is beyond the edge of infinity?? . . . of eternity??
Is there something wonderful awaiting us - something glorious, a golden
city, loved ones??
Are there dragons out there that will find us crunchy and know that we
go well with brie??
These are my questions . . . I have no answers.
