I wrote this from my heart as I have experienced much of life and, the ending of life is like the ending of a book, it can be sad but then it can be joyful. It is the way you perceive it to be.

The Aging Body

Old Age is a time of
high maintainence
of the body

The soul perfects
in time
The body falls apart

It is a time to give
the body more attention
than ever before

It requires it
It demands it
The soul has
less temtations

Sex desires
has been put to sleep
It may be in the mind
but the body is too
tired to carry on

To live a long life
is to become pure
Ambitions leave

The house falls apart
The weeds grow in
the garden
We look away

We think more
of death than of life
For that is the future

To be with God and
and His angels and
His saints

A time to rejoice
Not gloom and doom
Not sad

You are right. The temptations grow weaker... The soul grows stronger. Death is not a scary because we now know it is only the beginning of a new life.
Good Write,
God Bless,

My perception of life; it begins, it writes it's story, and it ends joyfuilly and peacefully because it returns to it's home from which it came. The spirit, the soul, gives life to the body but when it leaves, the body no longer lives, it's time has come. 'lil flower
