An essay on love beyond love. On the dreams of us all, under heavens watchful eye.
Love letters in time
Dear Love,
Today I miss your smile, your sweet embrace, and your merry footsteps next to mine. Every day passes with dreary minutes without your endearing presence. My ears without your whispered words hear only winter winds roaring past the frozen trees and icy grasses. My heart goes on, each beat a hollow sound echoing in an empty chamber, without an answering pulse.
The sight of you would bring such sweet pleasure, that it would light the world nay, the universe. Its glow would last an eternity and yes even beyond eternity, stretching beyond the constraints of time and distance. Yet, I am bereft of such light, and although I am small and insignificant, I await your coming as if I were the queen of all the heavenly stars. Will you come in this lifetime or the next? I willingly wait.
Hope within hope inside me awaits your coming. I dream of meeting you on equal ground in this life or the next, and each of our hearts fully able to give in complete surrender to the other. Oh yes, my love for this I do hope.
Dear love, I reach for riches of pleasure brought to life by loves sweet caress, with heavens gold shared in secret glances and the companionship of shared dreams.
Within this world of woe, we will be an island, an island of mercy and sweetest regard. Where roses grow through winter snows and sadness has no name. For how can sadness bloom in a garden of love?
Where you are love so shall I be. My heart and yours in tandem on life’s journeys forever entwined like ivy on the garden wall, clinging to each other with ferocious tenacity
Today I live in hopes. What else can I do? Tomorrow is my hope, there is always tomorrow. The wrens sing a welcome to each new day, one day closer to you. I am one day closer to you my Prince of Dreams.
