You have to take responsibility for advancing your own career.
Desperate to find the right job, but don't know where to turn? You have the skills, but you don't know how to capitalize on them? You took all the right classes and got all the right certifications, but you still can't catch a break. All you want to do is get your foot in the door, an opportunity to prove yourself.
You interview well but you still don't get the dream job. You feel stagnant, as if your career is going nowhere fast. Well join the majority of women in middle management positions. You're not complacent. You're stuck! You go to work everyday staring success right in the face. Yet you can't figure out how to get your piece of the pie.

I found this article incredibly informative and helpful. As a freelance writer, competition is almost ridiculous and I often find the line between literary "in" crowds and those wanting to capitalize on the popular desire to be a writer hard to negotiate. I appreciate your words of encouragement. Success is all about common sense and integrity!

Dear Tammie,
My wife is a Nurse Pratictioner. She is blessed with
more work than she can handle. I work a few part-time positions.
I would like to get paid for writing. Suggestions?
God Bless You for all that you do to help others.

| Good article, But being top person is not always what you think it will be. You end up most of the day cleaning someone else's mess up. |
