There should be more character put into Santa Claus` elves to give the children a story they won't ever forget.
Title: A Droopy Elves Story
Happy elves beat and bang on a drum,
Santa hums a tune, ho hum, ho hum.
Mrs. Claus dances round and round,
puts finishing touches on baby doll gowns.
Clocks tick, a parrot mocks, a train rolls by,
a panda smiles, frogs croak and dolls cries.
Reindeers prance and prepare for the trip,
hoping Santa Claus doesn't get sick.
Everyone is ready for the big count down,
but one of the droopy elves can not be found.
Mrs. Claus runs here and there,
can not find droopy anywhere.
We search the barn and outhouse too,
they're full of toys for all of you.
We look under Santa's sleigh seat,
there lies droopy fast asleep.
Santa jumps up and grabs his cane,
whacks the sleigh with a bang, bang.
droopy climbs out from under the seat,
claims he was keeping it dry from the sleet.
He yells a Merry Christmas to one an all,
saying, "I'll wait here in case of an emergency call."
We don't know if the sleigh will break down,
I'll be here if you need me in another town.
