This is really an occult topic; it's art related, since I got nothing to lose it'll be scary and funny at the same time.
The question of personal morality is not at stake here, this is about a moral social obligation shaped by various presuppositions which are external from the artist responsibility. Morality is learned, moreover, exhibited by the sureness and faithful execution in knowing the rightness of it. Arguably we could go well into next week squabbling over the complicit nature of some performance art;i.e. guru stance, the extremes noted by mere ramifications of personal myth and other involvements. I hate arguements, so there you have it. The point to ponder is the 'jolt' of an audience in regard to this very obscure form of artistic expression. Because conflicts do exist, naturally, born out of the varient quotiant 'anything is possible' , all reactions will be examined by the artist. In-so-much as the audience is not completely sure of what will happen next is the key ingredient to this voyueristic exibitionism. The important thing to realize is, as individual artists vary so do the compexities and extremes of their own inherent belief systems. When an artist subjects an audience to particular events examining the collective conscious becomes the event.
Sure, much energy goes into the making of conflict, yet seemingly that same amount of time could be spent toward other more or less appealing matters such as peeling a grape with a needle. It all depends upon your view.

I have found it is what people don't say that is more important...The stuff they do say is insequential, remedial, not real! It's a damned trivial life I lead. I feel real bad in a new kinda way! This type of mortification is a temporary anomolie as is everything in this 'haste makes waste' world of ours.

Please, please negate this as 'the opportunity of a lifetime' I want nothing from this foul viral infested vermin known as the revisionist status quo; tell me what is going on here, I haven't a clue? It is somewhat nauseating to me infact when I consider all the real true conflict in my life, which incidently I never meant to happen. Sorry about that interruption. Where were we? Domestic violence? Descendants? A literal standard for the ongoing research of the 'Action Group' follies. Agreed not all specimens are worthy. This authors author recognizes the fact that unfortunately what we see as redeeming content for historical texts and what is chosen to represent the masses is quite possibly decided in a pub on East 23rd Street somewhere in Jersey. There are no sacred cows, everyone should know that by now...If you don't like or understand random selection you probably won't like precepts of of a contextual literal standard of excellance. All substance drifts, but it shall be back, in the back of my mind. So I won't forget it, not ever! There is a hole in this plot and for the most part what we get is a narrorator ( who is not suspect ) but propegates an impenatrable curtain of abstract stuff. Into the soapbox on the corn- the esoteric fortress- a sense of consciousness and brutal viciousness. War is hell! Go in and kill'em boy's type of mentality.
There is a reason why intimidation exists; Hey, What are you doing? This is in fact the socially excepted manner of greeting a person in chat rooms. Give me electrical shock treatments please...I never heard of such fallible bullshit in all my life. Quick! Give me a beer before I forget pertinate speech patterns...
Spikes and Circumventing Fascism
In short, this action was site specific and seen as heroic by the artist. Just because society rejects something doesn't mean it is wrong. This type of cruelty must continue as the work contained therein raises too many questions. Not to recontextualize the morality of coercion. Dysfunctions of previous art movements have always placated the acceptable levels of tolerance in their culture. Why should this be any different?
These kinds of events can be seen as intensive care, maybe an audience does not know what it really needs? In our complexly integrated society there will be an emmense backlash of growing pain. How will they cope?
There is not a violent malevolent 'will' sub-merged into the artistic community...There may be converts to that loose conduct of certain artistic endeavors trying to debunk the traditional paradigm of this internal confoundment. How does one build on the foundation of deconstructionism? Confict conspires with dialogue over the conscious ability and the unethical practise in order to spur off a perception of morality. All this depends on some kind of conforming sense of logic and ethicical practising, their has to be in the balance some weights or measure to examine the compelling drama. All this is achieved on the subconscious plateau. Whether you see performance art as the new and improved version of the old thing depends upon how rigorious you are in terms of formalists and pluralists implications.
Surely, we can restore the power of heightened perception, pure ethical reasoning and personal resolve if these precious values, precepts, be not lost. The ediface is before us and there are options and undeniable social forces which abdiccate moral responsibility. These elemental abstract, cold warriors, who intercede society at the critical points. Artists are indeed a sacrifical commodity in our culture. A reflection of an elaborate vision, schemata, which corresponds with societies underbelly in general. These crucial moments are lost in a love war pitted against two schools of thought which has generated a knashing hate machine. No doubt according to some it is just to much fun to be 'bad', if rebellion is your attitude, you are not ready for the light hearted lecture on pure-thoughts.
