            How many of today’s women are actually following their life-long dreams? How do they get out of that proverbial rat race and pursue their God-given talent that was set aside so many years ago.  After all times have changed, the kids are older and finances are better…. .   The fear of change is overwhelming. What if you don’t succeed?  Or even more challenging…..

            Author Julia Rose joined The Ahwatukee Chamber of commerce as our featured guest speaker, sharing her experience with us as she tells her story about pursuing and achieving her lifelong dream of becoming a published writer.  She will challenge you to grab hold of your young dreams and never let go……

            Julia Rose is an Author and Motivational Speaker.  She was born and raised in the Southwest and has lived in Phoenix the better part of her life.  As a gifted writer she has numerous poems and short stories to her credit.  The Gift Keepers is her first published book, and the first of The Twin Heart Series.  The Author states that the story is not just for children, “The Gift Keepers is her gift to all the children of the world, be they young or old.”  Her subject matter varies as she continues to draw upon her adventures in life to share with her readers. Since becoming a full-time writer, Ms. Rose has had the honor of speaking in front of many different age groups.  Her enthusiasm motivates, inspires and teaches listeners how to accept the challenges in their lives and not to settle for second best.  Julia and her husband Ken continue to make their home in Phoenix, Arizona
