Instead of dwelling on yesterdays or planning tomorrows I'm learning that living for today is the only way ahead sometimes.
For no person should judge my movements
Until they have journeyed where I have been
As for each person may take a different route
And suffered in some ways which are unseen.
For it is easy to think they know much better
And tell me I should have done it differently
But my path was never going to be simple
As I knew rocky roads were ahead of me.
So I may have stumbled and sometimes fallen
But one thing I have learnt along my way
Is that tomorrow the road may be smoother
So I take my life on a basis of day by day.
For each new sunrise I am truly grateful
And the falling of the night sky reassured
That my life is full of really great blessings
As my children are always loved and adored.
