A review of some of the loose ends still unresolved in the OJ Simpson case 20 years later

It has been 20 years since OJ was accused of double murder in Brentwood. Amazingly after 20 years there still is some huge loose ends from the criminal trial that have not been resolved, including evidence pointing toward other strong suspects.

The first loose end: Mark Fuhrman heard a noise beside the hedge at Rockingham and called out to a person on the other side to halt but that person fled in a car. Then he found the wet bloody second glove beside the hedge. A police report should reveal who was in the car as Fuhrman had it tracked by helicopter after which the car was stopped by police. Rumours at the time said that Dinese Brown , Faye Resnick. and the Fiato brothers were in the car. The Fiato brothers worked for Vanatter and Lange - the two detectives who took over the case from Fuhrman - conflict of interest? That glove was found about 6:30 in the morning after the murders. There is no way that OJ could have left that glove there before leaving for the airport about 11:30 the night before and the glove still be wet. Mark Fuhrman then found woman's foot prints on the other side of the hedge opposite where he found the glove - the only foot prints in that area. A public disclosure of the police report stating who was in the car stopped by police at Rockingham would clear up the mystery around this important event.

Another loose end: There was testimony from two witness's at Rockingham that a woman said 'There was no blood on the glove' indicating that the group of people at Rockingham about 2:30 AM would have left the second glove there then but had forgotten to put blood on the second glove from the crime scene at Bundy. There was indications that the blood on this second glove was the result of mixed dried blood from the murder scene at Bundy with a liquid before it was planted at Rockingham.

Another loose end: The blood drops beside the bloody footprints at the Bundy crime scene.
Mark Fuhrman was the first detective to see the bloody footprints but he said that he didn't see any blood drops beside the foot prints. This agrees with three other sets of evidence.
- the blood drops did not show the same motion as the footprints would imply. The blood drops were round and not elongated.
- There were two sets of footprints as agreed upon by Bodziak and Bailey. This being the case there were two murderers.
- There was a theory put forward by Bodziak (FBI footprint specialist) that OJ had made one set of foot prints then got his shoes dry, returned and made another set of footprints exiting the scene again but then there should have been more than one blood trail.
- a downtown detective was caught emptying a fountain pen in an area where only blood drops were found?
- these blood drops should have been tested for EDTA.
