In the beginning there was and is stillness and stillness perceived itself to become thought which then cast its shadow to become the universe.

Before there was thinking there was and is stillness. Stillness is a state where all opposites are reconciled. Energy began when One (stillness) became aware of itself.

For One to be aware of itself it had to be removed from its own essential experience. It had to have a point of view. Any point of view requires at least two participants and where there are two or more the experience of being One is reduced proportionally. One is the all-knowing stillness and more is always less. Every energetic structure requires more than One and so every structure is a containment that limits the awareness of One in direct proportion to the complexity of its points of view or thinking process.

The primary or initial point of view has the greatest clarity. Nonetheless, it is still a point to the view and thereby limited. This limitation allowed the possibility of temptation and the temptation for the original view was the guarantee of gain measured against the possibility of loss as perceived from the flawed perspective. The deciding question might have been ‘why should I risk the anonymity of nothing (non energy) when I have the kingdom at my feet?’

One has no other. It is Reality and can never be a point of reference to itself. The original reference was the beginning of polarized life: the beginning of energy - the birth of the universe. The name of this original view is Thought. Thought has the least restricted of all views and uses this advantage to control all subsequent thinking.

Complexity is inversely proportional to knowing.
