Seasonal Allergies – Survival Guide
Spring is here and with it comes the allergy season. This is the time of year when everything begins to pollinate, constantly bombarding the body with allergens and causes those with allergies to be miserable. The symptoms include, but are not limited to, stuffy nose, itchy, watery eyes, sinus drainage into the throat, and asthma. In many cases, the stuffy nose will develop into a sinus infection and can go from there into upper respiratory infection, including pneumonia.
There are many allergy remedies on the market. Many of the pharmaceutical remedies are sedating (cause drowsiness) and in many cases serve to make you feel worse than you did before you took them. Natural remedies abound as well. Many of them are effective if used properly. The problem here is that a large portion of those selling natural remedies do not post the proper precautions on their remedies. Bee Pollen is a good example of this practice. Bee Pollen is only effective for allergies if it is local (from your geographic location). Bee Pollen from another area will serve no benefit. Another drawback to this therapy is that Bee Pollen will sometimes cause a more severe allergic reaction because of the concentration of pollen ingested. Many of those who distribute Bee Pollen neglect to mention these facts in any of their literature.
After many years of trial and error with allergy remedies, I finally hit on an herbal combination that I found to be very effective. The combination consists of a proprietary blend of Nettle leaf, Nettle root, Osha, and Golden Rod. The Nettle serves to reduce the allergic response. The Osha is a very effective natural decongestant and antimicrobial. The Golden Rod in the blend has proven to be specific for allergies to cats. I have taken this combination for several years with continued success. I decided to share the benefit that I have enjoyed with others who suffer from allergies. The name of the product is Allergy Aide. You may purchase this product from either of my websites at http://www.grannyherb.com/ or http://medicinewomanherbals.bizhosting.com/.
